Business purpose
MY StudySpace eU is an online learning platform that, in addition to selling and providing learning and teaching materials, also arranges online tutoring between interested parties and teachers. Teachers are not teachers in a school context, but rather people who are considered qualified by MY StudySpace and who can demonstrate relevant technical and didactic skills in the subjects to be taught.
Conclusion of contract
The contracts concluded regarding tutoring lessons are concluded directly between the teacher and the person booking. For such contracts, MY StudySpace e. U. takes on the role of a mediation, administration and billing platform, but does not enter into a contractual relationship with the person booking.
These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts concluded via MY StudySpace e. U. Deviations are only possible if this has been expressly agreed in writing; MY StudySpace e. U. expressly excludes implied consent.
Rebookings and cancellations are possible up to 24 hours in advance without giving a reason via MY StudySpace e. U. Alternatively, an email can be sent to the respective teacher and additionally (cumulatively) to hello@mystudyspace.at . Out of consideration for our teachers, for short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hours before the start of the lesson) and for no-shows, a fee of EUR 10 per missed unit will be charged as compensation for the teacher's waiting or preparation time.
Copyright
Any materials (worksheets, videos, etc.) that MY StudySpace e. U. makes available to students and teachers as part of the tutoring sessions are a voluntary additional service. They can be revoked at any time without giving any reason; there is no entitlement to continuation.
Furthermore, all materials provided are the property of MY StudySpace e. U. and are the copyright of the intellectual creator Stefanie Eva Zauner. Any type of reproduction, distribution or other types of making available to third parties, in particular for commercial purposes, are strictly prohibited under §§ 14ff of the German Copyright Act (UrhG) and entitle MY StudySpace e. U. to claim lost profits and compensation for any damage incurred.
The place of jurisdiction for all proceedings is Wels. Austrian law shall apply exclusively, excluding international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
